Father's Day Card

A bit soon but it's good to get a head start.This card was made from a die cut sheet set called Man About Town from Kraftyhands. A new CD will be launched soon containing these images.Well on the 17th April to be exact on Create and Craft at 12 noon and 3pm. I am sure this will be great for making those male cards we all dread.The cogs are from a Spellbinders set of dies cut out in gold mirror card.The sentiment is from another Kraftyhands CD called Golden Age of Steam another one which is great for cards for the men.
I hope you are all having a nice Easter and enjoying the sunny but rather cold weather.

A Book Card for a new baby.

This is a card I have been asked to make for a baby who is due next week.I have used Lili of the Valley toppers for the front of the card and the lid of the box and Popcorn Bear for the inside pages.There is a place on the first page for the babies details to be added.It fastens together with a pretty pink ribbon.The box lid is made from a sheet of pretty pink dotty patterned card printed from Kraftyhands Finishing Touch cd.

Easter Card

Well I thought I had better make time to blog my Easter card as I have seen that it is the card featured on the Kraftyhands Blog today.This is a 6x6 card which is a change for me as I usually prefer 8x8.I have used a topper from the In Sympathy CD which I took into a graphics programme to add the 'for you' and 'at Easter' text.I cut the topper out with a plain circle nestabilities die and mounted it onto two scalloped circles cut from  purple and yellow card.This is then mounted on one of my favourite doilies which is mounted on the same yellow and purple card.I have added a purple pearl to each corner.Please take a look at the Kraftyhands blog.A different card is featured every day from the Design Team members.

A card for Grandma

Here is the last of my samples from the Kew Floral CD.Looks like the CD is going to be a sell-out on C&C.
I am not surprised as the designs are stunning and were a pleasure to work with.

Kraftyhands on Create and Craft

Here is another of my samples from the Kew Floral Collection CD which will be on TV today at 1 pm and 6pm.Be sure to watch or record as you will see some great samples from the Design Team for this fab CD.

 

I have used two of the shaped toppers matted onto silver mirror card which I have cut with a Spellbinders die.These are layered onto a sheet of backing paper which has been matted on plain pink and silver card.A dotty ribbon and a butterfly cut from the backing paper and the pink card to finish off.

Two Pretty Cards

Two cards today.Both from the Kew Floral Collection Cd.The first one in pink has pretty floral backing paper layered onto plain pink card.I have added a doily and then the matted and layered topper all cut with Spellbinders dies.A sparkly butterfly, a few gems and a sentiment to finish off.

The second is very similar but using the blue Iris topper.I thought I should do something different as everything I have done over the last few days has been pink.

Stepper Card from Kew Floral Collection

My card today is a stepper card from the Kew Floral Collection from Kraftyhands.The stepper comes ready to print out on the Cd and all you have to do is cut, score and fold and then decorate.

My new photo booth is a polystyrene box which my dog's frozen food was delivered in.Well crafters' find a use for everything don't we?

Sneak Peek

Just a small sneak peek at a box I have made from the new Kraftyhands Cd Kew Floral Collection, which will be on C&C on Tuesday 12th March at 1pm and 6 pm.It's GORGEOUS!!!

Kraftyhands Challenge Blog

Here is my DT card for the March  Challenge.(sketch)I have used papers from Kraftyhands Cd Finishing Touch.I cut 8 2" squares to do the tea-bag folding and added a sentiment and some card candy.Why not come over and join in the challenge.You can use anything but if you use Kraftyhands products you could win £20 to spend on their website.

Stepper Card

This is only the second stepper card I have made but I must say they are growing on me.It is made from Kraftyhands Cd Garden Steps and the template for the A5 stepper is on the Cd.All I have added is some gold mirror card and a couple of blue gems on the butterflies.
