Congratulations!

Today I have an engagement card to share with you. I have layered white card which has been embossed with a Die-sire leafy embossing folder onto silver mirror card. The two hearts are from a Hunky Dory kit and the Champagne glasses are a Marriane die. The hearts have been glittered around the edges. I have added an EK Success border at the bottom with some silver edged ribbon. The Congratulations and the Cupid are cake decorations. Nearly forgot the corners they are a Joy die.This really is a mix-n-match card. Hope you like it.

December Challenge

Well today sees the start of the last challenge of the year at Kraftyhands. The topic for this one is 'Anything Goes'. So come on give it a go for the last one in 2013. Golden Wedding

                                                                      Golden Wedding.

This 8x8 card  has a layer of gold mirror card to which I have added a piece of white card embossed with a Crafts Too A4 folder. I have added adhesive pearls to this. The photo is matted onto a Spellbinders frame which I have also matted onto gold mirror card. The corners are a Joy die. I have decorated with paper roses golden bells and leaves.

Roses and Lace

Always a good combination, roses and lace. The gold lace effect on the topper and sentiment from the Hunkydory Timeless Elegance set is beautiful and the photo really doesn't do it justice. I have matted the backing card onto gold mirror card and added a gold border made with an EK Success punch and some ribbon. The topper and sentiment are on foam pads to give some dimension and I have added a triple bow tied on  the bowshaper.

New CD Launch

Well the new CD from Kraftyhands will launch on Monday November 25th. It was delayed because of a shuffle round at Create & Craft but I can assure you it is worth waiting for. Vintage Transport contains 10 sets of images in card making sets, book boxes, toppers, money/gift wallets, and backing papers.All you need to make those cards for the men in your life. Visit the Kraftyhands website for a look at the Gallery or watch a walkthrough video on the blog.
Here are my samples made using the CD.These are from the steamboats section but there are also trains, tractors, motorbikes and more included.

Vintage Transport CD

Due to a change at Create & Craft the new Kraftyhands CD ,Vintage Transport, will now launch on November 25th. Mike and Ian will still be on tv on the 19th November with some old favourites. One of these will be the In Sympathy CD. There are some lovely images and sentiments on this one for those cards which we all have to send from time to time. Here is one of my samples.

Kraftyhands November Challenge

Good morning everyone.Well it's time for another Challenge over on the Kraftyhands Blog. This month it is traditional Christmas colours, red,green and gold.This time the challenge is 'just for fun' so hope you will join in and show us your creations. Here is the card I have created and there are lots of others made by the Design Team over on the blog to inspire you. I have printed a pyramid topper sheet from the Holly and Snowflake CD.On an A5 base card I have matted and layered gold mirror card and red card which I have embossed with a snowflake folder.To the red card I added some Christmas ribbon.I matted my topper onto gold mirror card and die cut some gold snowflakes and added some red Dew Drops to them.Hope you like my card.

Anniversary and New Home

Here is the card I made for my Son and Daughter-in-Laws wedding anniversary and also a new home one as they have recently moved. I have used a Kanban topper,my favourite Joy die cut corners and die cut leaves.I don't know what make the leaf die is.The white backing card is embossed with a Crafts Too A4 embossing folder and the sentiment is from Hunkydory.

I tried a bit of colouring with Promarkers. It's quite a plain card for me,not too sure about it.

The house stamp is from Polkadoodles and the sentiment one is from Lili of the Valley.

A Christening Card

My card today is a Christening one.As the photo I received was black and white I decided to stick with white and silver for the card and not add any other colour. I have used Spellbinders dies and a Tonic punch. A piece of white stripey ribbon and a few pearls  to decorate.

A Kanban Card

Hi everyone, well what is the weather going to do?Sometimes it's sunny and next thing it's looking black. I hope it is going to be nice for the craft shows over the weekend.There is one on in Harrogate and one in Edinburgh and I am sure lots of others too.So if you are going have a good time and don't spend too much.
Today I have a 60th birthday card made for a customer.I have used Kanban goodies as I have too much stash and need to use some of it up before the house falls down.I shouldn't really say that as it has already nearly done so twice through subsidence. I have added a silver border at the bottom punched with a Tonic punch, a pink ribbon and some very pale pink and white paper roses.

A Hunkydory 60th card

Well here is my latest card.I have used  Hunkydory toppers and backing sheet. I have added a lace and ribbon border at the bottom  and a sentiment cut out with a Spellbinders label die.Three roses in pink, cream and white and three flat backed pearls to the top and left hand side to finish off.

A Christening Card and another Sneaky Peek

Hi Everyone, my card for today is a Christening card which I have made for a work colleague of my husband. She said I had made her one before  and it was a Keepsake card so I hope this is what she wanted.

Craft Nouveau Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well and not feeling the cold too much. I suppose we have to get used to it now but we shouldn't complain, we had a really good summer.

Blue for a Boy

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and still enjoying the fine weather we are having. I hope it doesn't mean we are in for a bad winter though. Here is a card I have made for my niece and her husband for the birth of their first baby. The papers are from Kraftyhands Finishing Touch CD. I have cut the photo and frame with a Spellbinders die.I don't know what it is called because I don't keep them in the packets as I always seem to cut myself on them. The bootees are a Stampendous stamp and the greeting is a Lili of the Valley stamp. The bow and self adhesive pearls are from my stash.The inside is personalized with baby's name and time of birth etc...

We are inviting 3 customers to become members of our existing design team. To be a design team member, you must be creative, think outside the box and have a passion for papercrafting. All successful applicants must have their own established personal blog.

As a design team member you will receive one copy of all our new CDs before the launch date, plus any new products that we'd like you to incorporate such as charms and embellishments absolutely FREE!

In return, all we ask is that you create and send us at least 3 good TV quality card samples from each CD we supply within a given deadline and to participate in our monthly blog challenges and events.

Good morning everyone.Hope you are all well.I am just back from a relaxing holiday in Jersey.We only had one rainy day in two weeks.Our last morning there was spent watching the dolphins off St Catherines, fab.

Time for another challenge on the Kraftyhands blog.This month is Anything Goes so we are looking forward to lots of entries from you lovely crafters. Good afternoon everyone.Hope you are all well and the weather is not too bad where you are.Today I have a 21st card made with Hunkydory and two anniversary cards,one made with Lili of the Valley and the other a Sue Wilson style,although I will never be as good as Sue, to show you.

12 Days of Christmas

A great new CD from Kraftyhands will be launched  on Create and Craft on August 6th at 1pm and 6pm.It includes stepper card and 6x6 card sets,backing papers,pillow boxes and lots more. A 90th Card

Well I like the sunny weather but this card took some making. I was melting and so was the glue I had to put it in the fridge to cool it down.Pity I couldn't get in there too.I have made this book card using the Kew Floral collection CD from Kraftyhands and Angel Whispers CD from Crafters Companion.It has  five sections,three with floral decoration and two with angels as the lady who asked me to make it for her Mum wanted angels.Well flowers,angels and butterflies.The butterflies are cut from Kew papers with Spellbinders dies and the fan on the front is a Marianne die.Hope you like it.
